he Smiddy House provides 4 luxury rooms for Bed and Breakfast accommodation: one family, one twin and 2 doubles, each ensuite with shower and toilet, along with colour TV, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

These large rooms have all been refurbished to the highest of standards, with finishing touches from Robert who has a flair for design, creating new décor and furnishings using top-quality fabrics. This has helped the Smiddy House to achieve 4* luxury guesthouse rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.
Each bedroom is personalised by its own name and simple, but tasteful individual refurbishment.
- "Oban" - the family room with one double bed and a single bed
- "Jura" - the twin room with 2 single beds
- "Isla" and "Tobermory" - both double rooms, each with one double bed
For that special occasion, flowers and champagne can be arranged to be in your room on arrival. From a single rose to a bouquet, McDonald Bros. (our local florist) will deliver direct. Please contact them on 01397 702221.
Laundry, All guests, not just walkers and cyclists, are welcome to use the laundry and drying room facilities for a small charge.
Dogs are welcome, although we appreciate advance notification as we have our own resident King Charles Cavalier spaniel, "Cara".
